How can I check availability and book a stay?
You can check availability for your preferred dates and book online via our online booking system.

What time can I check in?
Check-in is available from 3pm onwards. If we can, we will try to get you in earlier but we cannot always guarantee this. We will be happy to store your luggage safely and you can use the facilities until your room is ready. Check out time is 11am.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellation terms depend upon the type of rate booked. Our Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Generally, our “Best Available Rates” allow for more flexibility to alter or cancel your booking up until 48 hours before arrival without charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival may incur one night’s room charge. For more details, please see our full T&Cs.
What is your child policy?
Up to two children, aged 4 and under, can stay and take breakfast for free when sharing a room with two adults. Dinner is charged at standard children’s menu rates.
Children aged 5-15 are charged £20.00 per child per night on our bed and breakfast package. The children’s menu is served in the Wild Brownie Bar. We warmly welcome children to The Estate Room; however, please note that we do not provide a dedicated children’s menu or specific children’s dishes. Brownie Bar menu items cannot be served in The Estate Room.
Children aged 16 and over are classified as adults and will be charged at normal rates. For more details, please see our full T&Cs.
Please note, under 16’s are not permitted to use the swimming pool, gym unless accompanied by an adult at all times. The thermal suites and spa treatments are not available to children younger than 16.
In the summer season, the pool is not available to children between 8am-10am and 7pm-9pm. We thank you for respecting these quieter times for adults-only.
Is the hotel dog-friendly?
At Loch Rannoch Hotel, we believe that dogs should be treated like a family member, they deserve a break too!
We have a charge of £20.00 per night, per dog (max 2 dogs per room) which can be added at the point of booking. This includes the use of a comfortable dog bed, dog towel, water bowl and a complimentary bag of treats. The Wild Brownie Bar is our designated dog friendly bar and restaurant. Dogs are also allowed in the Drawing Room, Lounge and Whisky Bar.
Please note that we have a limited number of dog rooms. If you arrive with a dog without notifying us or we need to accommodate you in a non-dog friendly room, a penalty will apply of £40.00 per pet, per room.
We also welcome non-residents with dogs in the bar. If you are passing by or fancy a day out, come and stop for a meal.
What is your smoking policy?
Loch Rannoch Hotel has an 100% non-smoking policy, in all public areas and bedrooms. Smoking is permitted outside at a minimum of 2m distance from any entrance. Please be mindful of other guests and use cigarette bins provided. Do not throw these on the floor or in our flower pots.
Is the hotel accessible?
Parking is available immediately in front of the hotel for guests with mobility issues. There is an accessible lift on the ground floor with access to both floors. We have 2 rooms that are accessible friendly. Both rooms have a shower over the bath and grab handles by the toilet and bath.
There is a portable ramp for wheelchair access at the main hotel entrance and a permanent ramp to the Rannoch Larder entrance where there is also an accessible WC. The spa has wheelchair access and an accessible WC.
Is there parking available?
The main lower car park is directly across the minor public road from the Hotel entrance. There’s also car parking on the top level on either side of the Hotel and a few places for guests with mobility issues immediately in front of the Hotel.
What facilities are available at the hotel?
Since our major renovation, Loch Rannoch Hotel boasts an extended range of facilities including 2 restaurants and a bar, a newly built terrace, games room with full-size snooker table and pool table, as well as skittle alley, table football, air hockey and table tennis. Leisure at the Marina includes a new fitness suite with floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Loch Rannoch, water sports facilities with kayaks and SUP paddleboards for hire, bicycles and e-bikes to rent, a squash court and an indoor climbing wall.
Our spa facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and steam room and Ishga spa treatment rooms and facilities.
Our guests enjoy complimentary use of the leisure and spa facilities with some charges for equipment rentals and activities.
Our hotel restaurants, bars and entertainment are available to hotel guests and to non-residents. Booking ahead is recommended to avoid any disappointment.
When are the spa and leisure facilities open?
The Rannoch Spa opening hours and available treatments can be viewed here. The Rannoch School of Adventure is open from 8:30am - 7pm and/or according to weather and light conditions. Seasonal variations may apply; please check with our Reception team to ensure you have the latest information.
Can I use the spa and leisure facilities at Loch Rannoch Hotel?
Hotel guests have complimentary access to the spa and leisure facilities. Members of the Loch Rannoch Highland Club also have access to all of the hotel’s leisure facilities for the duration of their stay.

When are your restaurants open?
Breakfast is served between 8am – 10am Monday – Friday / 8am to 11am Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Breakfast times are subject to seasonal change, please check with Reception for current details.
Lunch is served from 12noon to 3.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and 12.30 to 3.30pm on Sunday, dinner served from 5pm – 8:30pm.
Our Wild Brownie Bar and Terrace is open for drinks daily from 11am.
From April to October, The Estate Room is open Monday-Saturday from 5.45pm - 8.15pm. From November to March, The Estate Room is open on Friday & Saturday from 5.45pm - 8.15pm and closed from Sunday to Thursday included. We warmly welcome children to The Estate Room; however, please note that we do not provide a dedicated children’s menu or specific children’s dishes. Brownie Bar menu items cannot be served in The Estate Room.
The Rannoch Larder serves breakfast only. Please check with Reception for current details.

Can I make a reservation for dinner?
Kindly be advised that a room reservation does not ensure a table in our restaurants.
Reservations can be made for The Estate Room and the Wild Brownie Bar by contacting the hotel on 01882 632201 or info@lochrannochhotel.com. It can sometimes be very busy, especially weekends, so we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
